It’s exciting to be able to report a success story in the midst of the uncertainty caused by COVID-19. We are pleased to announce that GTreasury and Micro Focus have worked diligently together to meet Micro Focus’s aggressive implementation goal to be up and running on the GTreasury platform by June 2020.
The goal was met despite the changes in business practices both companies experienced as a result of the nationwide social distancing recommendations. When implementation began, the entire Micro Focus treasury team worked in the office. They had several face-to-face, on-site working visits with the GTreasury team. However, once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the implementation shifted to be completely virtual. Even so, the combined Micro Focus and GTreasury team met the go-live deadline of June 1, 2020, including building a completely custom feature for intercompany payments and receivables.
“We are especially proud of the in-house bank design and integration built entirely from scratch for our implementation,” said Christopher Swiss, Director, Micro Focus Treasury. “The GTreasury team really performed. They understood what we wanted and were able to build us a system to our specifications to monitor and track all our intercompany sweeps and netting settlements while integrating seamlessly with our NetSuite ERP.”
What’s more, the GTreasury implementation is part of a larger technology upgrade project at Micro Focus. The implementation of the bulk of the technology upgrade project is due to go live later this year, but the GTreasury implementation was able to be delivered ahead of schedule.
