Q: What do you believe are your key strengths?
A: My accountability, enthusiasm and communication skills.
Q: How do you keep track of the things you need to do?
A: Besides Jira and Clarizen systems, I rely on written notes, my phone and Microsoft. Daily team stand-up also helps with refreshing project status.
Q: What makes you happy in a job?
A: I find great satisfaction in a job where I am surrounded by knowledgeable people that I can exchange ideas and experiences with.
Q: Why do you feel you have work/life balance? Do you have any tips/tricks for others to improve their work/life balance?
A: Work-life balance is closely related to how someone manages their tasks and work effectively. Effective work habits involve understanding the purpose and requirements of a task and identifying what can be accomplished at each stage. This approach helps to prevent delays and minimize the need for rework. I find that regular exercise helps me maintain a clearer mind which helps productivity.
Q: Think about a good manager you’ve had. What did they do that made them a good manager?
A: A good manager not only focuses on the quality of work but also on the well-being and development of their team members based on each individual case.
Q: What do you like about the work environment or culture here?
A. The collaborative atmosphere fosters teamwork and innovation, allowing everyone to contribute their ideas. A supportive culture encourages continuous learning and professional growth, making GTreasury where I feel motivated.
Q. Who are some of your biggest inspirations at GTreasury?
A: David O’Donnell, APAC Support team manager, who I worked closely with for 4+ years. In every way, he inspired me to grow into a professional support analyst. Mitali Menavlikar, Head of APAC Implementation, a calm, knowledgeable, decisive and empathetic leader for the team. Ross Atkinson, APAC Director, always thinks strategically and is supportive of employees.
Q: How have you grown professionally at GTreasury?
A: I have grown professionally by observing the practices of senior colleagues and incorporating them with my own. By learning from their approach to problem-solving, communication, and leadership, I have gained valuable insights to add to my own skill set.
Q: What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?
A: Always be open to others’ opinions and work with a purpose.
Q: What’s something you are passionate about outside of the workplace?
A: I enjoy exercising through dance classes where I experiment with various dance styles.
