Lead Generation Specialist

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the sales team. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources.  A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business via telephone
  • Identify the decision makers within these prospects
  • Through outbound cold calling, book appointments with prospective customers
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in salesforce
  • Ensure all communications are logged, information is accurate and relevant documentation is accurate
  • Build, grow, and clean targeted contact lists

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years telemarketing and/or inside sales experience
  • Strong interpersonal and telephonic skills
  • Solid listening skills
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed determined sales and activity quotas
  • Goal oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time
  • A proven track record of strong client relationships
  • Good mathematical comprehension an asset

Technical Experience

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Experience with salesforce
