Careers | Manager, Solutions Delivery

The Manager, Solutions Delivery is a frontline management role with three primary responsibilities: services delivery, personnel management, and revenue growth and retention. He/She is responsible for the successful delivery of consulting services as well as the management of consulting personnel, including staffing and resource management, performance reviews, and career development.  The Manager, Solutions Delivery is accountable for providing a successful client experience on our consulting services.

This position is based in Lake Zurich, IL and reports directly to the VP, Solutions Delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures successful delivery of consulting services through effective team, project and customer management
  • Manages the work of the teams under their direction (e.g. direct, matrix, or subcontractor) to ensure optimal resource utilization and engagement execution
  • Improve results through regular reporting metrics and analysis, including level of effort, budget, duration, and other useful metrics that would help with continuous improvement
  • Regular reporting to upper management on various useful metrics
  • Escalations to upper management in case of abnormal delays or complexities on implementations
  • Ensures that all assigned team members have a solid understanding of client business objectives and the plans in place to attain those objectives
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for system and corporate treasury domain knowledge
  • Regular follow-ups with Clients and other internal stakeholders and act as escalation points on all consulting projects
  • Drives projects, manages issues, risks, schedule, budget, and overall customer success
  • Foster a team collaborative environment within group and other departments
  • Participates in recruiting and employee development activities to ensure a balanced team with the right set of skills
  • Assists direct reports in personal and career development by providing regular feedback, coaching and guidance on personal development

Education and Qualification

  • Bachelors or equivalent degree in a business, technical, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience leading the scoping and delivery of technology services engagements, including project and team management
  • At least 2 years of corporate treasury or related experience
  • Ability to drive project-based work and to manage tasks, schedules, deliverables, budget, and project risk
  • Demonstrated ability to manage personnel and processes associated with software consulting professional services
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and retain consultants
  • Strong and effective communication skills at all organizational levels, including written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to function in dynamic environments, whether leading or following
  • Creative, problem solver with operational mind set
  • Resourceful with ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Self-organized and capability to work under pressure within tight deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • Experience with Clarizen, JIRA, Confluence a plus
